Question - Do the proofs also come in Type 1, 2 and 3?

one of the types is a proof that was used for abusiness strike so the answer is no. They have different varieties.

The Bicentennials do come in type 1 and type 2 the possibilities are

    1976 S type 1 clad (Made in 1975)
    1976 S type 2 clad (Made in 1975(?) and 1976)
    1976 S type 1 40% silver (Made in 1975)

There are no type 2 40% silver proofs.

The frost on the 1978 proofs is incredible-frostier that any other proof issue overall.
