    Nice coins... The 1937 is a really nice lamination. Are you sure the 1887 nickel is an error? Looks like damage to me. Not a lamination.

    The 1887 nickel looks much more like a strike thru than a lamination.

    The edge is damaged on the obverse in that area - that is why I was thinking it was damage.

    Actually, upon second examination, I think you're right . . . I didn't notice the flattening of the obverse rim the first time I looked at the photo(s). Curiously, the coin doesn't seem to have distorted outward at all.

    #2 - the V Nickel is damaged IMHO.

    You could get that flattening on the obv rim if it was a pre strike lamination but then I would expect the coin to be light not overweight.
