I don't think that I posted these here yet. I am really liking these and can't wait to find some more.
Hey gang. I started a Dan Carr Facebook page. It's in its infancy so not much going on but please join If interested. Search out The Daniel Carr/Moonlight Mint/Clark Gruber & Co collector site. Thanks!!! Joe
In case anyone is still interested in Dan Carr's stuff, he posted a LOT of new overstrikes early this morning and they are selling out quickly . . . . . Z
Each piece from the last offering is sure to be unique. The show and tell sessions ought to be EPIC . . . . Z
I ordered one of these today. I thought “1884” and “CC” dies are a matched pair – both have number “37” stamped on the shanks was a good idea. Moonlight Mint image
The anticipation grows as we wait for the shipments to begin. I decided to take it up a notch and order both the 1848 CAL and the 1908-O Liberty Double Eagles. It should be a fun month of deliveries.
Don't forget gang to come on over to the Dan Carr/Moonlight Mint/Clark Gruber & Co. site on Facebook. Its a small group right now but we would love to have some show and tell over there!!!
I will post a few newps to get this tread off of page 7. Received this mid week. I am very thankful to have found these. My only blue signed DC's.
Other ones that come in the mail. No blue signatures but at least they all had the insert included. His work with Peace Dollars is outstanding. I hope the 1848 CAL and the 1908-O that I ordered come out as nice.
This thread ended up on page 6. It is time to do some posts and get it back to page 1. Here is the 1908-O (formally known as 1897) Liberty DE. I am very happy with this coin and can't wait to see what he does with the 1848-CAL that is coming soon. Also received my first ever signed insert. Photos are not as good as GoOoldmembers at the top of the page but enjoy. This thing is amazing in hand.
Here is a neat set of Vintage Die restrikes that just came in the mail. Glad I went with all 5 to keep them together.
