Put the tube in warm water, and then try to get them out. This will expand the tube. If that doesn't work, just try breaking open the tube.

If there just circulated breaking the tub wouldn't hurt but if they are high-grade Do as stated above.

Have you tried unscrewing the cap? Most plastic tubes have a screw on cap. Earlier ones had a friction type that I would use cellophane tape on. A photo of your tube might get more response.

Actually, your answer was in the thread you originally asked it in. So you really didn't need to start your own thread. But you're learning!

Anyway, the question about what type of cap is on the tube is a good one. I've had both types of caps, and I prefer the screw on types. But maybe you already have the cap off and they still won't come out? Then follow the advice on the thread you originally posted on. Also, if you haven't already, try turning the tube upside down over a soft cloth and tapping on the bottom.

No mint mark, think P... If it's sealed in a sleeve slit an end carefully and pull it open, works for me, good luck.

...and no repeat post would have happened, and no trial and error stuff would have to be attempted, if anybody had answered with the only true foolproof method: leave the tube where your wife can find it.

Those plastic tubes shrink over time. If you have ever worked on any home water projects, you will have one of these laying around your toolbox. It's a tubing cutter and it does a good job of getting those old shrunken plastic tubes opened.

I refer all to "No country For Old Men", and the proper use of compressed air.

Yep, worked for me a lot easier than other methods offered. But that's just my experience. And I feel like a lot of people have me Ignored here anyway, so they will never even see what I did. Glad it helped you out!
