I’m almost sure this is a coin somebody with boredom issues got ahold of. However what makes me ask, is the lack of dremel marks along the edge, the lack of a raised edge on either side, and the uniform width of the zinc area everywhere but the bottom.

Some kind of damage exposing the zinc underneath still a cent.Possibly a grinding tool, kind of odd how so little damage is seen though,it looks clean.

That's what perplexes me. No grinding tool marks that I can see, and the thickness of the zinc around the edge is too uniform for a grinding tool. 1stsgt22 may be right about it being a dryer coin. I am 99% sure it is PMD. but the oddities just made me need to ask to confirm. also on the reverse there is a very thin zinc ring on the outer edge. A dryer coin would probably show damage to the reverse too....NO?

It’s definitely damaged so it doesn’t matter what or how.
