My LCS has a $1 box of nicer world coins. Found this in there for a dollar. It’ s .925 Silver! Paid for the rest I bought!

I also snagged this for a buck. Not silver, but a nice coin anyway!

Does it say it is silver on the packaging ? Because there is a copper-nickel version too.
The .925 silver is worth $30.00 in my catalog. If it is silver it has a low mintage of only 40,000. Nice find.

No packaging with it. But it weighs out as Silver. I also think it is the PROOF version (impaired of course).

The nice part is the copper-nickel version seem to be rarer and the face value for what it matters in $12 US which is nice

Nice find, even if the prince looks like he has horns growing out of the side of his head.

Wow, that sure does like copper nickel. I could not find the weight of the unc. version in CuNi. Will look tomorrow.

I've looked all over. I can not find a weight for this coin in CuN. I can't even find a listing for it in CuN. The UK made one in CuN. But I can't find one for Cayman Islands.

@furryfrog02 Thank you for finding that. I found the comments section really interesting. It may be CuNi. Makes it rarer then the silver version. Can’t find pictures or montage for it. Either way worth a buck to me!

Schon has the CuNi listed at 28.28 gms. also. So weight not probably good enough. That is a very good and valuable catalog that is in some cases (or more) better than Krause (note spelling is in German so Cayman is Kaiman)....

I submitted my picture of the coin to Numista to put on their listing since they didn't have one. It was there this morning!

Wow, that is service! BTW, even the CuNi coin is catalogued well above the purchase price!
