What is the grade on the slab?

Nice nickel since its in an old anacs soap box ill say 64,easily at least a 66 today,what no FS option.

 

MS-64 . Nice overall coin with some mild wear on Monticello on reverse .

Looks like the strike didn't move enough of the reverse metal to fill the die correctly

 

MS64, 0.5 Steps

 

I went with MS-64 even though the back is not that strong.

 

It is actually a very lustrous coin.

This is the best I can do on the steps @Collecting Nut

 

Now I'm thinking 66.

 

Its in a fatty I thought the material looked more like anacs in the first picture.

 

MS 65 was my original thought and I'm sticking to that with the additional photos...clean fields and does look to have nice luster

 

What are the prong looking voids in the holder?

 

The stains?.

 

They are voids in the insert. At least that is the best in hand guess.

 

I'm gonna say '66 based on the second set of photogs.
