So I went to the mint website, to check on my two coin RP silver eagle set, to see if it had finally shipped.

I got couldflare redirect popup, the on order history I got "order history unavailable" So, I did some investigating, and the LESPS is going on sale a half hour from now.
Kind of hard to believe I notice these issues already, and they can't even give me order history as they prep for the sale of that one item, which hasn't even started yet.

I guess just a rant, day 19 of "order processing" and losing patience and I can't even check it because they throttled the functionality of the website.....

Still available half an hour in, and everything seems quite snappy on the Mint site. Guess there isn't a huge crush of people willing to pay nearly four times silver value for what this set contains.

Yeah... that 2 coin silver eagle RP set was the only thing I wanted this year from them.

So the sale started, order history still missing, eve a half hour into the sale,,,, and doesn't seem to be much of a hurry for the LESPS.I'm sure they will sell out, just no mad crush for them. they have I think about 15K left right now of the 50K.
They are selling. there's that. Maybe the sight will return to normal in an hour or so after it sells out.

LESPS is not a fast mover.........over priced and redundant.

Can't access my purchase history either, John.

And once the hopeful flippers realize that there were plenty to go around, I wonder if we'll see a high rate of returns? This one might be available off and on for the rest of the year...

Why is there that much interest in the LESPS? It is just a grouping of coins that have already been released. They are redundant and more expensive. What you are buying is the packaging. The US Mint can only focus on one product at a time.

2 hours later and still available. Yikes. depending on which number I go by, they have about 5500 or so left on average.

I have to be honest on this, it's so expensive for what it is, I don't see how anyone flips this and makes money especially with silver not sitting at $28 or $30 and oz anymore. it's down around $22-23 now and if it keeps going down, I don't see these already offered previously coins with decent mintages ever really turning a profit just for the packaging, which I might add, appears to have also gone downhill.

2.876 troy ounces Like $65 in silver for $235...

yeah, Also I'm not sure if the flippers can all return them, the mint will cut you off if you do it too much. depends on the individual and their history I suppose, but yeah, there's gonna be some returns I think also, but the "no crash" of the website and HH Limit of 1, kind of suggests the flippers and their bots didn't show up for this one so might not be so many returns this time around.

I'd be like "Hello Amex, Please cancel my card and issue a new one, this ones compromised and also refuse to pay this last order for the U.S. Mint, some smart guy thinks less than 3 ounces of silver for $235 is a good deal, what an idiot whoever that clown is!":woot: No Ma'am it wasn't me!"

I have been dealing with the US Mint since 1959. This is my last year. In fact, I have nothing more needed from them. I got some stuff for a new grandchild to be born in 2021.

No, I never have gotten them. The kids get the coins without the expensive US Mint packaging. They get a Mint Set and a ASE Bullion plus other stuff I come up with. I give them a family tree of their 2 or 3 generations plus coins from the birth year of the immediate relatives. Here are some examples of sets I made for more than20 of the little rug rats. They were made up from my accumulations for the past 70 plus years. I put them in 2 X 2' and three ring binders. IMG_5672.JPG IMG_5656.jpg

All this means is that they have created a shipping label for it. They haven't actually gotten it to the post office yet. That will take another 3 to 4 business days. Then it will take off on the road headed your way. Already went through process and still waiting for mine.
