*edit- nope, not on those three, but i have a whole ziplok baggie i can go through of just '42-'45 nickels. I need to see how many 42D i have. Btw, you're a monster for pointing that out, something else to mess with my head, lol.

I've found 24 1943P nickels, in circulation. None have that little fish hook. Thank you for the info though.

I did really find these today. I have a neighbor who is more elderly than i am, so myself and some neighbors pitch in with groceries. Today was my day. So I'm packing out some dry goods in the pantry and my elbow knocks a box in the shelf and it makes that familiar sound. I say "Herb! You got some coins in this little box here, mind if i take a look? He says there's nothing special in that box. Oh contrare mon frare. Two lovely IHC! I was like you said it Herb, nothing good here! And stole them! I was laughing the whole walk down the block!......
Just kidding. I showed them to him, and he said, like i said, nothing special. I offered to knock a buck off his bill for them. He laughed, said keep em. I think he was joking when he said he keeps his real good stuff locked up in the basement. Uh huh.

I don't want to start a new thread1 since i know plenty of people view this thread2 according to the thread3 counter, so I'm posting this here (thread4).
@Beardigger and i have this little bromance going on. It started with a W quarter swap, which was so successful, that we haven't stopped. We've sent a bunch of stuff back and forth, much to the shock and sometimes dismay of the other, lol. @Beardigger has sent me multiple proof coins, sets, Ws, you name it. Don't get all excited @potty dollar 1878, i send him stuff back!
I sent him that blast white '63 half, most recently. And he sent me this! The crazy person! As we all know, my birth year is 19something, but 1973 will always hold a special place in my heart.
There's an S in there on one of the cents! I almost passed out @Beardigger. This is way too generous. Like i said in your thread about the 1909 svd, you're a great guy, and i couldn't be luckier to have made your acquaintance. Thank you, my friend. This is awesome.

I'm thinking i need to get my best slabbed and start selling. If the coin gods are smiling tomorrow, i may just have my 200th W mint mark quarter, in hand.
