first post and can you tell what date this indian is???

i read alot on here but this is my first post
i have this indian that i think is a 1877 but im not sure it is very worn but maybe somebody on here can tell

If you cant tell in person I doubt a picture will help.
My guess is a 1877 also but what I think I see as the second seven looks a bit lower then it should be.

 

I've played with the image a bit and I'm coming up with the same answer.

 

Post the reverse also.

 

Can't tell for sure. Probably 1871.

 

I don't know if there is much detail on the reverse or not... but if the N is a bold N (like you can make that out :goofer then its not a '77.
