I'm still in Pending and on Day 16 I think. Hurry up and wait. I feel like I ll probably get a "shipped" on Friday, if history of the mint keeps how it's been the past few years. Seems like If I do the cheap shipping, they take a good 20 days before they get to me.
I've added insult to injury. The Morgans (D) (S) are still backordered, the Reverse Silver ASEs are still Processing, and now the gold horse coin is backered. Any idea why? I do think I read that the Morgans would not ship until October, but their idea of time and ours is different.
The peace and morgans were always planned to be October, not sure why they were sold so far in advance but they were.
Got a notice that mine shipped, earlier this week. The tracking number shows that USPS "is awaiting the item" 4 days later. They charged my card on the 29th. Fingers crossed.
Who’s getting theirs graded and who is leaving them in the Mint packaging (such as your humble narrator here)?
Received confirmation on the shipping today. In route and should be here on Oct 5th. The Morgan and Peace commemoratives still sitting on backorder.
I guess 6 emails today saying that my VISA has expired. My old VISA was supposed to be good until the end of October, but I got my new VISA and the expiration is October 2024. Do you think that my old VISA is attached to my purchased that are "BACKORDER" or "PROCESSING". I don't trust these people. I guess my luck is holding out....all bad!
Mine showed shipped last Friday, Sept 24th. Remained in status, USPS awaiting shipment until Wednesday, Sept 29th when it changed to package received. And my CC was charged. I received the set in today's mail, Oct 1st. The coins are nice. Not blow me away nice, but ok. Just another underwhelming Mint issue IMO.
Well, my purchase finally came out of "Processing". It's now in "Shipping" however, when I searched on the number and found that although the Mint issued an number, the Post Office did not have it yet. So... Is it now in never-neverland in between the Mint and the Post Office?
Great looking pictures. I have noticed that the obverse American flag stripes lines stand out more on the type 1 than on the type 2. My set does as well. Did anyone notice this on theirs?
My coins were secure in the capsules, however, the capsules were loose in the mint packaging. My first reaction was, the mint is slacking in their presentation. I wasn't impressed with the display. The coins themselves are beautiful, but the display is less than ok.
