They aren't but they allow the fakes to be advertised on their sites.

I opened the article and almost immediately got a pop up ad from greysheet.

Those who don't do links... Here is the unedited joint letter sent. Does not include the rest of the article.

Unfortunately this is one of the lesser of Facebook's sins. They have allowed far worse.

I’ve heard of them but never used them and no plans to do so. CT is the only online thing I do.

I just see the word "Facebook" and have a "yecch" reaction. Not quite as bad as the reaction I get when I see "Craigslist", but yecch all the same. :yack:

I do have an account, which I check every three to six months to see what far-flung family or long-ago friends have been up to- it's good for that- but as far as wanting to buy or sell there, or spend much time there otherwise, fuhgeddaboutit.

I use Facebook to see all the kids and grandkids. With most of them so far away it is helpful.

That was the intention of it when it started. Too bad it turned into an Avenue for people to sell fear, hatred and counterfeit coins.

On average, Facebook earned $32 from each of its users worldwide in 2020, earning $84bn in total advertising revenue and an additional $2bn from its non-advertising business.
There are millions of facebook pages up for people who are dead. Seems like fraud to me if they are earning $32 yearly from the deceased. I know several people who are gone yet their facebook pages live on.

    I have an account
Made it just to try to be relatable with my generation (not going too well)

I did have a video that got half of a million views! That's about it, though.
