Not wallet but my key ring has about 20 coins on it that I use to start converstions about coins and it's very effective.
Getting groups like I do you end up with some stuff that has been damaged or will never have any true numismatic values (because of problems cleaning and such).
So I drill a small hole in it (if not already there) and just string them on my key ring. I have large cent, small cents, Indian, Lincoln Steel, Buffalo, silver quarter, G.B. six pence, Australian 12 shillings, a three pence and a few transportation tokens or apothocary weights and few other and people all the time are amazed at them and it starts some contacts as well.

I used to carry a 1879 Morgan dollar in my wallet, until I noticed it was leaving a rather unsightly circular impression, that resembled a certain something :D. So now I keep it in my pocket.

I like to keep an IHC or two, a buffalo and a Merc in my pocket along with other change and pull it all out at the cash register to search for the change needed for my purchase. Often the clerk is staring wide eyed at what’s there and if they’re nice, I’ll spend one or two. Either way, that often starts a conversion about coin collecting – sorry if you were behind me in line. :secret:

I carry a 1943 quarter. I go to a park down the street from me to practice my golf short game and one day from the divot I took out a coin went shooting up in the air and there it was a 1943 Silver Quarter.

I keep a wheat cent in my wallet. Used it a few times too, when talking to people about coins.

2009 D Kennedy half dollar. It's a leftover from the rolls I got last year (I buy the rolls every year just to keep one each in my collection, and sell or spend the rest).

Ten years ago my sister was told she had a terminal health condition and wouldn't live five years. I was in Paris at a trade show and bought two Paris Mint brass medals in Notre Dame Cathedral, showing the Christ Child and the Virgin Mary, and I prayed for her health (I'm not Catholic but am a Christian). I gave one to her and keep the other with my change. Every time I feel the medal in my pocket I say a prayer for her health. She is still alive and doing great! Praise God.

I'm kinda the same way. I rarely carry cash, or even a pocket piece to show. The only time I have actual money is when I'm at work as several placed don't take plastic. It's fun to take a few Sac dollars to see the looks on cashier's faces. You'd think you were handing them a bar of gold to pay with.

Funny I have been trying to spend my $500 in direct Ship Sacagaweas and I tell you one of the places I spend every day is my work cafeteria. However, now that I've paid $6 with them for 3 days in a row, the cashier doesn't look so thrilled any more. Yesterday I used 10 of them to buy gas.

I carry a 1967 Canadian Centennial Dollar in my pocket. It has a goose on it. I love geese.

A group of friends that I moderated a web site for Oxygen with years ago (almost 10 now!) and I all carry one of these as like a "challenge coin". We all still keep in touch, have our own personal message forum, and travel to meet in different cities on occasions.
