I don't have any at present, but I've had a few pieces in the past. I don't do paper money, but I do like Fractionals. I've always said that if I did collect paper money, it would be Fractional notes (and Colonials, if I could afford them), and German notgeld. National Bank notes from my hometown (Brunswick, GA) could also be fun, but I'll bet those are elusive. Maybe quite expensive, too. Dunno. I don't know a ton about paper money. Reckon I'll stick to the little round pieces of metal, but I like those Fractionals! Fun stuff. Those look UNC?
You know @lordmarcovan, I've been in the market for a Brunswick, Georiga National Bank Note myself. Most examples that I've seen on eBay are $5 notes and typically run between $200 to $300 and often fall within the low VF range. Compared to most Nationals from Georgia, Brunswick is actually one of the most common locales for the entire state alongside both Savannah and Atlanta. https://www.ebay.com/itm/154572323916?hash=item23fd3a7c4c:g:wDwAAOSwYXphGsvS
Cool. If they had two-figure (maybe even higher two-figure) price tags instead of three figures on up, I might dabble in them. But... nah. Best I stick with the little metal objects, I reckon.
For me, paper money was what pulled me to the proverbial Dark Side of Numismatics at the tender age of 10. But, in my experience, dabbling in one field always leads to more interests, and before you know it, you may very well find yourself collecting paper money.
I collect paper money, but only the ones with errors on them, and only star notes. It is a small pond.
If you like fractional paper, I say go for world money. It’s easy to find “fractional” at a fraction of the price. I have two Canada 25 cent notes somewhere. They cost maybe $10 each
