Is this a close Am penny?

    Is it a 1992?if not that's the normal type and how its supposed to be,nothing special.
     
  5. It is a 1998 Denver minted penny do have to say it looks close than my other 1998 Denver pennies

    Easiest way to tell is to look at the position of the M. If it is centered between the A and E it's a wide AM. If it's not centered (closer to the A) it's a close AM!

    What you must learn is that just because it looks brand new doesn’t mean it is collectable. Your coin has advanced die deterioration in the lettering of USA, rendering it as a NAV (no added value) coin. Not even worth putting into a cardboard flip…it is a spender…imo…Spark

    It is but what date is it? When posting coins you need to show the full coin so questions about it are answered off the bat.
