@Lem E, that's two 1944P nickels in one week. I have a theory when this happens. I believe these two coins were minted one after the other, and separated at birth. Through much hard work, and dedication to the craft, I've brought these two "brothers", if you will, back together after 98 years of being apart. I'm basically a hero. Helps me sleep like a baby at night .

@SVO_Seth that's the third MB this week. I find these exponentially more than the others, over double the nearest. Not sure why. Just a lot of them in my area. Lots of Ws. My current total is 189 in hand Ws. I've given away at least 7 as well.

 

Lucky me instead of keeping them use them to get better older coins,I have always wondered what it would fell like to own a half disme .

I have found 25 to date and gifted 2 of them to tellers that have been helpful to my hobby.

My most common are the MBR and SRB. I have found 5 and 6 respectively. I see so many SBRs that are non-W. I thought that would be the first one I would find but it wasn’t. I found WITP first. Found a lot of SRBs over the last few batches.

I see an inordinate amount of Marsh-Billings and SRB. It makes sense i have the most each of those. I respect that you use the IT in War in the Pacific, but i go WaP for those, well, because it's fun to write WaP . East coast, we're seeing a lot of the same stuff.

I had some @CoinJockey73 luck today. Pulled into my bank 5 minutes before close, bought 10 customer wrapped rolls of quarters and 5 of nickels…plus $5.50 on half’s. This is what I found. More silver quarters then I have ever found.

 

Yeah, got swamped with work. Glad it's Friday and I can peruse CT again!
