Why would a person that claims neither Faith nor disbelief in God, and that nothing about God can be known of the existence of God, be amused by a material unproven existence or non-existence of the letter "T"? Truth in editing: godless spelling correction.
Nothing more than a minor filled die. No different than if any other letter was missing. At one time, these were hyped to make them seem special. Many newer collectors fell for it, and you'll still see junk like this on the "get rich from pocket change" sites. Unfortunately, some of these still sell for inflated premiums to newbies, but there really isn't any demand from knowledgeable error collectors.
Thanks for the replies. Trying to get my footing on what to collect and what not to collect. I think it is neat and makes it unique but not sure if I’ll keep it.
Well they are selling pretty regularly on eBay for $8 to $15 dollars. Not saying it's right, just the facts. The fainter the T the more they bring. Extra missing letters bring more. So @SVO_Seth , I would hang onto it.
Found this one today, had to explain to my wife that it is not worth the $100 that it says in the magazine ad.
