1998 GB £2 coin 3 chins on the queen

    E896A2D5-38F2-4299-BDEE-3EF347448AB3.jpeg 16865669-BEBE-47CB-AB04-BD88C29A874D.jpeg I appreciate that it’s mainly US on this forum I will be posting some US coins soon, found another possible error coin GB 1998 £2 with 3 chins on the queen it’s going in my error collection just wanted opinions please or has anyone seen another similar ? iPhone pics again apologies . New microscope hasn’t arrived yet.

    Notice how the areas are flat. That's a characteristic of mechanical (machine) doubling. This is not the same as hub doubling and rarely interests knowledgeable error specialists since it is a relatively common equipment variation.

    However, that's a pretty cool example of MD, and one of a very few ever posted on here that I would keep.
