Well I got this in the mail yesterday, it is not in the best of condition on the obverse, but did not cost much…It is a Dupondius, which I like. Any thoughts on it?
Cool coin. @Mammothtooth . The reverse is Fides with plate of fruits and corn ears. Obverse legend ends in COS XI so it's either RIC 288 (Domitian without aegis) or RIC 289 (with aegis). I think I see the aegis so 289. The coin is OK, the only thing I would be bothered about is the problem behind the portrait. If it didn't cost much, it's a deal.
Very nice! I wonder if the slice on his face and jaw was intentional (damnatio) or just wear and tear from usage? I just won a slight upgrade to my Domitian Macedonian shield coin. Hoping the poor lighting means it'll be better in hand:

I like it - yeah, lots of wear, but nice glossy patina. The obverse damage doesn't bother me much either - it misses his face. Here is an as with the same (similar?) reverse and lots of problems - it cost $10, which is okay by me: Domitian Æ As (86 A.D.)
