Can't get at my 72 TY 2 Ike in 65, and don't have photos.

I have had a raw 53-S strong FBL Franklin in low mint state . . . borderline choice, with surfaces too busy for my liking. I sold that to a local collector way back in the late 1980's, and have lost track of him.

Best of all, I had an ANACS MS65 1969-D Jefferson that was full 5 clean steps and not awarded the designation. Step 5 was a tad weak at pillar 3, but not bridged, and clearly superior to the marky FS plate coin in CoinFacts. I sold that coin to an Oklahoma buyer for $150 back in the early 2000's and regret it to this day. That coin is destined for runaway bidding if and when it appears at major auction.

Have seen different criteria for "modern"...1970/after...1950/after and one or two others...not sure which is accurate or more widely accepted. Anyway, no photo yet but have a 1955-S Lincoln cent graded MS68RD and he's every bit 68RD...came to me by a fluke/accident...by far my rarest coin. I'll take a photo the next time I can get my wife's phone away from her. :woot:

For me it's probably the 1995 W Silver Eagle. It was free with the gold set that year.

I also have the same coin in half dollar. Great looking coin too. 2017S was the last half dollar to complete my 1965-2021 collection of half dollars. So I was nearly at that time willing to pay what ever for it. Guess I paid about 30 us dollars for it. At that time I had a job and had the money for it, now it is harder with no job. But now and then new coins get in to my US collection.

Proof 1992 1 Cent, no S. They estimate around 250 or so may exist. Got it from David Lawrence late last year.

    Geez, it's a 1990, not a 1992.
