Well, after staring at this coin for some time, I decided it would be mine. These are the sellers photos, so I have to wait until I have it in hand to take better photos. But now this will do.

Guess what they (PCGS) graded it.

Great Barber. Looks familiar... Wait, I had that on my "watch list". Ahhh now I'm bummed. I won't spoil the grade.

Yeah, i was going to sit on the sidelines and watch it roll by, but pulled the trigger before work this morning, only to come home and see that I won it.

That's a beautiful looking coin there! I never cared much for Barbers before, but the local antique mall got a few in an estate sale, and seeing them in hand really won me over to their charms.

As for grade, I'm going to guess AU-55. I'm probably wrong, but they say practice makes perfect.

Looks like a PCGS AU-50 to me.

Pretty toning. Whatever I guess PCGS graded it, it's probably lower. I gave up trying to guess what they will grade my coins. Just sent in a 1906-O quarter. I was sure it was an unc. Gorgeous luster, typical weak strike, and no signs of wear. AU-55!

WOW! Certainly is a looker, from first site, I'd say a 58 ;)
    Nice pick up

Not sure I understand those of you who say "no signs of wear" and then guess AU????

Great looking Barber, I'll say MS64.

Illini nailed it. This was a weird coin to obtain. Back in early September I bid on this coin at Heritage but was disappointed when I didn't set my reserve high enough.

So a few weeks later I did a quick search on ebay and low and behold, I found the same coin. The ebay seller must get most of his inventory from heritage and try and flip it for a profit. Seems all he did was give ebay their cut and break even.

Overall I ended up spending about $20 more then I wanted to, but with free shipping/insurance it works out well. Can't wait to see it in hand.

Could have sworn I saw wear...looking again I guess not
Well I'll throw MS63 out there then. :)
    Once again, nice coin

EDIT: Well I was a minute too late, and also got the grade wrong lol
    Illini got it, MS64 ;)

Good, good. Just didn't have time to do anything here! Too busy studying and such. I have all A's for first nine weeks, should have them for 2nd nine weeks, and semester also ;)

Getting A's is always a 'excuse' to purchase more coins. Sortof a rewards system for myself hehe.
