Yesterday, I turned in a box of rolled Lincolns to my bank which I had searched, and asked the teller if I could exchange then for a new box to search. She said she didn't have a box, but could let me have rolls which another costomer had recently turned in. I said fine, thanked her, and went on my way. What a find or at least, I thought so! Many of the rolls were so old, the ID's on the rolls did not have Zip Codes nor of course 2-letter State abbreviations. I harvested many complete rolls: 1929P's, 1934P's, 1936P's, 2 rolls of 1937P's, 3 rolls of 1938P's, 1940P's, 1942P's. 1943P steels(nice, manyBU/AU and the rest EF's), 4 rolls of 1944P's, 5 rolls of 1945Ps, 1958D's, 1976P BU's, 1981P BU's, 1989P BU's, 1995P BU's, 1996P BU's, and 2005P BU's. Even in the rolls from the 1930's and 1940's, though most were circulated, many were BU's &AU's. I think most were put together within a year or two of the respective years, because of the near BU conditions of so many, and the rest were EF's. I opened all rolls and put each into its own respective tube with my "story" and date of the find. It was quite a potpourri and I had a great day!

Lot's of varieties to be found in those 30's & 40's so look closely, especially those 36P's. Nice haul!

Fixed it for ya. Also set your images to full size instead of thumbnailed. This is an option you can do yourself, if you look for the button there when you're posting.
Very nice find indeed. Surly this is resurgence from a passing collection. Threads like this may increase within the next year, after the last one we just went through. Two similar threads just this week.
Thanks for that advice of looking closer on 1930's and 1940's - particularly the 1936P's. They are in nice condition, so a "find" would be extra nice!
Thanks for the fixes, and also for the means for full sized posts . Funny thing is I've been mostly into Wedding photography since 2000 ..... just covered #540 on Sunday! Here are the 1936P's - no UNC'or AU's - I hope I can upload the pic I just took and a file and not a thunbnail - here goes! (Good! I'm brighter than I thought!) lol
