No, but I am sitting right next to one and talking to her. Do you want to put up money and we will hire a lawyer to discuss this with? You are not going to like what you hear.

No - but I can spot someone on ebay trying to defraud me. I can hire the rest.

The law is not some magic that can only be understood by elfs and legal scholars. When it is CLEAR, it is CLEAR. Contracts are also clear and read and affirmed by normal people.

Your in a deep minority on that opinion.

BTW - I am SO anxous to read the peer reviewed paper that proves that there is no way to tell the difference of toning of metal over 50 years verus a half hour. Please send that citation and I will go to our library and pull it out and we will review it together.

Do you know of any serious art dealers or museums that even care about $100 works of art, let alone would entertain requiring all of the above stated details for them?

Are you one of those people who, once cornered by your own words, battles twice as hard to make sure others don't see you as wrong? . . . I think that's called doubling down.

You make a valid point, but a prefunctionary questioning is always asked, and toned coins can go for a lot more than a few hundred dollars. If your not willing to ask the questions though, then be up front about it and say you don't know on the label.

I am letting him define it, just to be fair to him. I wasn't going to respond at all to the post, but felt compelled to give some engagement. Genuine hasn't been a term used in this discussion. But he essentially now argues that if you have a slag of melted metal, it is still all genuine and that is all that is graded by the TPGs. I don't agree with that, but if you apply his logic and his standards, his conclusion is right... for him.

How expensive is this anyway. You attach a little form to the grading sheet asking a set of basic questions. If you need it, you can read it.

I am now confused, again. Old age. Doesn't deep minority signify a sizeable minority of the minority, as opposed to a shallow minority, which signifies a minor minority of the minority?

My head hurts. I donno is on 3rd.

If your sister is sitting right there ask her the legal definition of slander. You did call me a fraud without any evidence of me being one. What's her opinion? What would a trial court say in your slandering of me? Maybe I should have my lawyer contact yours. I'm sure your place of employment would like to know who they have working for them as well since it could hurt the reputation they need to uphold.

Interesting read. I can easily tell AT v NT. The AT coins are always the ones I submit which have been stored in albums for 80 years. NT coins are other people’s coins.
