A thread is something you started by creating the above post. Your thread is titled: 'where's the best way to reach , The Man?'

What I am writing is a post, which is a reply to your post, which was the 1st in the thread.

    Make sense?

Basically, this site is comprised of many forums, which in turn are comprised of threads, which are comprised of posts.

No, there is no phone number.

I just made a POST in your THREAD. A post consists of one entry. A thread consists of one or more posts under the same title - in this case "Reply to Thread".

    If I might add,

A single new thread is enough, it is not correct to duplicate the thread, even though there are several forums and subforums making up COINTALK. Many use the "new post" button at the top to see new posts from all areas.

And because of its subject this thread should have been opened in the Support and Feedback Forum. This Forum is meant to be used for discussing US coins and coinage. You can choose your Forum here.

And per Hontonai's post - You may have to look for your thread because a moderator might move it to the correct forum. :) And if you are not sure about what forum a post should go in - pick one, and in the post kindly let the moderators know you were not sure where it went and they can move it if necessary.

Just wanted to add another post to your thread. :)

It's also OK to use proper punctuation.
It might help people understanding your posts.

Junk like ,,,,,,, and ~ are for teen texting and not for posting on threads involving intellectual discussions regarding the field of numismatics.

    It's just not polite.

Regarding the title to your thread - just who exactly is it that you want to reach ? Who, as you call him- is the man ?

Doug, do you need some reassurance today?

Hardly Dick, don't think I've needed much reassurance since I was about 6.

And Mark, I am most definitely not.

My question was an honest one.

That is where all these subjects should be moved to. I thought the moderators normally do that.

I could make some comments, but I think I best leave well enough alone.
