    Went to my LCS today, I traded $100 face in mixed 90% half dollars. Here is what I got in return. Fair trade with both parties pleased with the deal.
    1914 S St. Gaudens and proof sets.

    If my 'rithmatic is correct, that amounts to about $1750.00 spot silver. Man, you would have done well just walking out with the double eagle. I would say that was a killer score!

    I don't think those proof sets are silver. For example: https://www.apmex.com/product/1202/2002-s-u-s-proof-set
    The silver sets are in Red holders I believe.

    And that refers to the $100 in halves...do the 'rithmatic... Here' I'll do it for you, 200 halves X $8.75 = $1750.00

    I know what the halves are worth Edited- please do not use derogatory language; I thought he was referring to the value of the proof sets.
