What is the most valuable proof set you can hunt for?

    Every estate sale and garage sale I inspect those dates. They have been known to contain “No S”
    coins.

    I was able to see both the King of Siam and the 1868 Aluminum set before they were removed from their custom holders. I've two of the five aluminum sets in the original holder (the other three sets had already been broken up years before)

    I first posted about it here on CT shortly after the date you see on the pics I posted. Probably a few more besides.

    And then Rama IV supposedly gave it to Anna Leonowens. The movie "The King and I" is banned in Thailand for its "disrespectful and false" depiction of King Mongkut (Rama IV). The original book is not banned, but is seen as inaccurate and overly sensational. The proof set would be really cool to see in person.
