Ah, a cat that takes an interest in Ancients, that's nice. Lucky you! If only the people close to me were as much interested in them as your pet...

Is it very particular or does it like Greek and Republican as well?

I don't have any pets, but, if I had them I'm not sure I'd let them study my coins.:)

I do have a few squirrels in the trees outside, though. In winter, they are in the habit of taking shelter between the corrugated iron of the roof and the woodwork underneath. I'm sure it helps against the cold. But the crawlspace under the woodwork is a great amplifier for their busy gatherings... It only takes two of them to make it sound like a quarrelsome herd of moose that has gathered on the roof for the purpose of settling their differences.
Now, guess where my bedroom is in the house...:D
I live in the country, and still I have to use earplugs!

This has very little to do with coins, of course. I like the way you keep yours. Gives a new meaning to keeping 'coins in trays'. Usually, when thinking of trays you imagine something velvety with nice wood and everything, but you take it literally. Nice. And I'm sure your cat loves it as well.:)

I have a Coin Cat Assistant too! There are times where I’ll struggle to get a good photo of a coin. I’ll take tons of pics, messing with lighting, focus, etc. Then… finally I’ll get the perfect photo, crop it and combine it with the reverse. …only to then notice a big cat hair across the coin photo. Ugh… haha.

@TIF created this gif several years ago. It still brings a smile to my face.
