Machine doubling flat and shelf like making the devices look thinner. Die deterioration on the date. Just in case you still have not grasped it or have not bookmarked any of the reference sites you have been given here are the two known DDO's for 1969S Cents http://varietyvista.com/01b LC Doubled Dies Vol 2/DDO 1969-S.htm
All doublings are not the same copy that one person found first! Did you look at LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST and the EAR and the MOUTH and the NOSE too?
We did it is MD. MD can happen anywhere in the coin and in no apparent pattern. Your 69S has No added Value.
Members here at CT try to be helpful . . . for free . . . and many are experts in errors, so @Teran, if you post your coin(s) here and want answers, you got them. If you chose to argue the free opinions, fine, but if you ignore them and press ahead with your own convinced opinions, you are on your own. You don't like the answers? Submit it and pay the fees but don't come back crying to us that it was a mistake.
WHICH SILVER DIMES? except for the scant few error ones where planchets were left over and perhaps used??
As per your emoji, if you are bored, why persist in posting coins that in my opinion you already know what the responses will be? Nobody can post a succession of dreck over the course of a year and not have some clue
Teran, if you are not willing to listen to those that do know what they are talking about you WILL NOT LEARN. The lincoln cents that you loaded are ALL pmd and there is NO DOUBLING. God gave you two ears, two eyes and one mouth, use the first two and close the third. Semper Fi
Wow! So the OP is denying the obvious? And still thinks it's worth a lot of money? Hopefully the OP will send the coin in to get graded and then get back to us at CT concerning the results. I still remember what my grandfather always said in situations like this: A fool and his money are soon parted!
Responding to a post solely with emojis is just about the most arrogant and ignorant way to respond. If you can't string a couple of semi coherent sentences together, find something more interesting to do.
A man awakens from a vivid dream of the Serengeti plains to the sound of hoofbeats in the street. Sitting up, he exclaims: "Aha! Yes! I knew it! zebras!" Wishful thinking is fine so long as you can keep it in perspective - it's really easy (and natural) to see horses as zebras when dreaming expansive dreams. Additionally, in the unofficial numismatic dictionary: "Rare = you don't have one". (corollary: if you have one, it's really unlikely to be rare) Regard any seller's use of the term "Rare" as suspicious at best and worth checking into - 99 "rare" coins on an ebay page and 1 that isn't called rare should raise serious questions about what the word really means. That's an exaggeration, of course, but some sellers (pathetically) call everything "rare" in hopes of greater sales to the uninformed.
First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. M. K. Gandhi I like your quote!
Do a little basic research on the Coinage Act of 1965 and you will understand that 1964 dated coins were being struck into 1966.
This is the exact problem with the new generation and those that assimilate, Your time is short. Make it worth your while.
