1944p LWC - Roller Marks

    This is certainly a different look. Is this cent a victim of a wire brush attack or is this a strange Improper Alloy Mix result?

    The only other thing I could immediately think of was maybe an over polished die producing die scratches. I don't notice scratches on the rim, just the main body of the cent. Hey regardless, it's a wheat, put it in a flip.:)

    The more I look at it the more I think you're right - roller marks. All angled the same direction, all equal size and consistent. I think you're right on the money. Thanks JPD3! Definitely going into a flip next to my 80's roller marks.
