What is .20 plus .25 plus .50 plus $1? It's 3/4 of my Seated Liberty type set! Well, here are three of my plug ugly Seated Liberties - and a Seated Liberty dollar that is nice and (of course) I acquired it from another member here who was kind enough to help me with my type set in this regard. I like this, very much. Your post are coins 100 years before your birth year. I don't have a collection that compares to yours, not even close, but I did get one of each Denomination of U.S. coins, regular issue, of 1847, 100 years before my birth year. Don't really know why, just wanted it, lol.

Those are nice, very nice set. My wife was also born in 1947. I think she has one coin from 1847, a large cent. I am giving all my grandkids and great grandkids coins from 100 years before their birth. It is easier to set them aside now when they are only a few years old.

I missed this thread yesterday, so I need to catch up... the sibilance of "Seated Sunday" also works, at least
