What a nice haul. Knowing how long it took me to go through 6 pounds (I finished last night) I know what a task of love it is. You got some really nice examples of older coins.

Looks good to me. This is what coin collecting is all about in my opinion. I used to cruise ebay looking for coins every day, but it wasn't nearly as fun or fulfilling as digging through a big bin of random coins, never knowing what you'll find, never worrying about having to bid against someone or pay an outrageous price. That's what makes it a fun hobby.

I agree. Nothing better than searching a junk bin or random coins.

Very cool. The treasury medal (although Ive seen yours before) really stood out to me. Thanks for sharing with me

Very true! It's a different beast than online bidding fo' sho'!

Wow. Just beautiful. Those central and South American coins just took the cake.

But the Puerto Rican one, that one. Wow! Nice!

That Puerto Rico 5 Centavos got my attention. Not a common coin and the ones I usually see are worn and/or have dark toning. Nice coin.

I love a junk bin but haven't seen a proper one at a coin show for a couple of years now - not enough international travel happening I suppose.
