I just got back from the coin shop with a few hundred new coins. A lot of it is the usual stuff but there were some interesting things too. Here's a few that I found particularly notable for one reason or another. For the Italian 2 lire, I also got a 1914 and a 1913 1 lira. The Cyprus 45 piastres was the most expensive coin I bought today, but I've never seen one before. The Yugoslavian dinar probably isn't special but I've never seen one of those either and it has kind of a neat look.
Here's the second group. I got a lot of Chinese coins which I don't know a lot about so hopefully there are some hidden gems. I know the one here that looks like a bug is from Japanese occupation. The other one I've just never seen so I need to research it. This Japanese porcelain coin is new to me. I know I've seen other people post about them on here but I didn't pay that close attention, so any info on that would be appreciated.
Nice pickups! I think the occupation one is from 10 Fen from Hua Hsing Bank. Republic year 29=1940 (photo is upside down) I have one somewhere, but can't find the photo. Edit: Found it. I had it filed under Japan rather than China.
They actually had another one that I saw first but it was enclosed in some type of jewelry and I was looking at it trying to determine if the coin was damaged and if I could get it out, and then I saw the other one, so that was lucky.
