Help Me Play With This eBay Scammer

In case the current topic is gettings stale, I've got some suggestions for new ones:

1. Ask Doug which coin dip he recommends.

2. Ask Doug if he thinks investing in coins is a good idea.

3. Tell us a story about how your granny died and left you a fortune in coins.

4. Share your latest roll searching results.

Just send Doug and/or speedy and email requesting they lock the thread. I really don't see a reason for it, but they could. Or you can just ignore the thread.

Do you have subscriptions or something turned on in your user CP? This sends you an email everytime there is a post - if that is what you are referring to you can go into user setup and turn it off.

I'm not attacking anyone’s character – it’s their own statements that reflect on their character- that’s a fact of life. Each reader of this thread will make their own judgment as to the character of a responder, based on what they said – that’s a fact of life. Some will think that person's opinion says what a great business person he/she is, others will think, what a snake. It's not for me to interpret others' statements for others.

 

The eBay item in question that you give a link for was taken down days ago. Why would I be kicked off eBay? I have 100% positive feedback and haven't sold anything for awhile.

If that doesn't attack someone's character, please explain just what you said. Also, if you go back to ldhair's #1 etc., that is exactly what he was counting - each attack you made.

 

That listing was not taken down by eBay, the seller closed it. When eBay removes it, the link says "0 results found for XXXXXXXXXX" for ALL cases.

"Why would I be kicked off eBay?" Go reread my post #15. Those were not idle talk I was making there. Those were facts.

 

I said all that? Yeah, I especially like the vermin thing, when all those defending the deceptive ad disappeared. Of course, rlm wasn't attacking my character when he stated, he didn't know if I got kicked off eBay or that I was harassing an innocent eBay seller. Or, schmidt wasn't attacking my character when he said, "I wouldn't want to be involved in a transaction with YOU".

What is definately not attacking someone's charter is stating, all should note which camp a responder is in, your own statements put you in that camp, not mine, that's just a fact of life - your statements do reflect on your charter. If one feels there is nothing wrong with their statements, they shouldn't be concerned, as their statements speak for who they are.

Like I said it's time to agree to disagree and end this debate, there is no convincing one another. I put vermin in prison for financial crimes for a career and I know how vermon will cry their case all the way to lockup and throughout their stay. I also collect ulr's for possible referral, just a habit I can't get over, even though retired. I have my opinion about the charater of some in here, based on their statements and others, will draw their own conclusion, based on what you say - THAT'S JUST A FACT OF LIFE.

Have you guys looked at the sellers history and feedback? His ME page is worth reading as well. I don't have a problem with the guy. He has been around for years and years and I can't find anyone that has had a problem with him till now. I think he joined Ebay in 2001 and has 600+ feedback and 400+ items up now. He sure don't look like a bad guy to me.

 

Thank you schmidty, for extending an olive branch and offering the last word, albiet I doubt it will be the last word. This is done as far as I'm concerned.

That is one of the reasons I do not understand why so many people were down on him. Also, as best I can figure, as soon as he learned that "NO P MINTMARK" was not an error, he ended the listing and relisted it with a new price ($4.99). I would still like to know what he did to statequarterguy to make him go off like he did.

 

Before you go, I would really like you to go back and look at the sellers history and feedback on Ebay. After you do that would you please come back and post honestly just how bad you really think this seller is?

 

What did I tell you, that wasn't the last word. You must know or be this guy to defend him the way you do. Clearly, based on the number of his listed items, he was not a novice, he has been relisting this item for months, and he has other deceptive ads. Did he take those down too? He has positive feedback, well you wouldn't believe how many have gone bad in these economic times. Clearly that ad was deceptive and I got tired of seeing it relisted for months, it being a blight on all collectors/sellers. If he would have answered my question with, "Oh that's not an error", and corrected the listing, all would have ended. But, instead he kept the con going, letting me believe it was an error. If you all figure you're going to get the last word in painting this ad as okay, forget it. If you want to stop now, I don't want to see another post or it will keep going.
