Just found my first 2000 wide AM in a box of cents!

 

Searched My bag today.. Found a 1981 D over S.. Unlisted now from Cherry Pickers but not sure why.. Then I opened One of my last two OBW 1961D Rolls..
UNTOUCHED since wrapped in '61.. Found several RPM's .. But TWO of these D over Horizontal D!!!
YEA! Posted in errors too!

 

How is this possible

I got a box of halves, sealed just like all the others I get. The rolls look normnal except every roll has a blue sharpie mark in Kenney's eye. It appears these have been already searched but how it that possible with the box appearing untampered?

first silver in decades

I got three customer rolls of halves and, for the first time in decades, found silver. In just the three rolls I found a 1964, and 2 40%'ers.

Note: in my entire life I've searched less than a box . . . . so it's not that I'm unlucky, it's just that I rarely do this.

But, still, it was cool finding a 90%'er! Boy did that ever stand out. Needless to say: worn out silver looks a whole lot different than clad!

 

I've searched that same box.

I've gotten boxes in the area, Erin, with blue sharpie in Kennedy's eye, another box with them in his ear, a red line on the reverse, a 6 to the left of the head and a 9 to the right on all of the 1974D's, same thing with an 89, 49, and some others. But the Blue eye one looks the worst. We're just searching what has already been searched, but maybe you'll find something extra....

Well it's not much but since I'm on a dry spell. Today I found:

 

Found a nice '47 S nickel in a roll today, not the greatest find, but not too shabby either...

 

Okay im getting 2 boxes of nickels and 2 boxes of pennies and 1 box of halfs on tuesday how many boxes does a person normally go through before they find a Franklin or walking liberty half I already found a 1964 kennedy in my 2nd box.

 

Went through 5 boxes of halves this is how it went down: Box 1=zero Box 2=zero Box 3= 3 Franklins Box 4= 2 Franklins, 7 40%ers Box 5= 2 Franklins 5 40%ers 1 Walker and 1 1964. Totaling 7 Franklins, 12 40%ers 1 Walker and 1 1964.:kewl: This roll was on the top row when I opened the 4th box!

 

1918 and 1952-D Lincoln Wheat in a roll today. Worn standing liberty quarter the other day.

 

I love it when a 90%er is on the end of a roll.

Had a bad weekend in searching myself. I go to 6 different banks that order halves, and NONE of them ordered this week. I then went to a bunch of banks, and most didn't have any halves at all. I did find 3 customer rolls, and got nothing, then I found a bank with one half, and I bought it and it was a 1964, but badly damaged.

Then I found a bank with a box and bought it, as I got it, it looked opened. The teller said that another guy searches them and rolls them and brings them back in a box......so I had a box already searched! I looked through them anyway and found nothing.

So, for the whole TH - Sunday, 1 1964. No real boxes to search.... Not a good weekend.

 

teller had 12$ in halves - 1 40%.

Went through 100$ in dimes, found '55 & '58D

My last good find was a 2002 5 Euro Cent coin from Greece in a roll of pennies.

 

Picked up a bag of halves today at the bank and I have not opened it yet but I see at least 30 silver halves showing I saw 3 Franklins and 4 walkers!! Ill let you guys know what I find! :goofer:
