    Pulled this out of a box yesterday!! A shame it doesn't have a date! Really hate to see this happen. Guess I'll need to try a good soaking. Hope it works!!!

    Be extremely careful that zilincon is about to turn to dust really a shame but nice find.

    Yep, proceed carefully with that exposed zinc. A little acetone might be in order for the crud, I suppose?

    Great find, regardless! Very dramatic error, to have been found "in the wild" like that.
