Never knew George Soley medals were SO TINY . . .

    I almost need a microscope to read the text on the reverse.

    Been picking up some of George Soley's medals of late and didn't realize just how small they were.

    I should have a few interesting pieces coming in shortly, assuming the Post Office does its part.

    Is the reverse crimped into a bezel of some type or a solid one piece token. I find it odd the the bottom half of AMEN is missing.

    No, that's the full reverse.

    I'll have to check a couple other, but the medal to the right is struck like that too.

    Both pieces are dated 1893 from the Columbian Exposition.

    I'll report my findings on Monday when I have access to the medals.
