Yes so his ad is leading you to believe that coin has no P MM and it does'nt have a P MM therefore there is no deception.

I'm curious, for what policy violation was the "NO P MINTMARK" reported?

    No P? Take some Flomax.

And he does not get in your way? Why did this seller get in your way? Plus if your retired you have all day to take him on. I guess I just don't get it - two sellers doing the same thing, one gets in your way and the other doesn't.

    Thats funny!
What's even funnier, is he cancelled the auction, and re-listed it $4.99. statequarterguy, did it ever occur to you that the seller MIGHT have made an 'error' in listing it, and wasn't listing an error?

I noticed that a long time ago, but I thought that I would see if statequarterguy would ever catch onto it. He did not. I think the seller honestly thought that it was a mistake not to have a "P".

I believe that means case closed. Statequarterguy can put away his cape and sleep tonight.

I found his relisted coin (or at least it's a similar coin). He is still saying "no mintmark". I don't think it's as big a deal as statequarter guy is making.

But, he is giving it a grade...isn't that against the rules?

It is against the rules to list a numeric grade in the title.

BTW, welcome to CT. Most threads are not as argumentative as this one.

Thanks for clarifying that for me. And thanks for the welcome. Actually I have been lurking for a while, but decided it was time to join the conversation.

Sorry, but I think you missed the fun. statequarterguy gave up, I think. I could not get any facts from him.

I think you're right. I would say more, but I don't feel like being his next target. :) Or am I already "vermin" just for agreeing with you?

Last I looked there was no bulls eye on your back. Welcome to the forum Shmidty and please don't get the wrong idea. We really do love and respect one another....and when we don't Doug steps in and cleans house. :smile

The only difference in the ENTIRE auction (title, and description) is that he 'withdrew' the 'NO P' from the title (that and the difference in the BIN).
