This add popped on YouTube today from Brightstore (located in China) offering the following: 2006-2020 American 1-Ounce Eagle Brilliant Uncirculated Sale price $9.99 Regular price $19.99 SALE price $9.99. Only hint is they do not not call them Silver
Eagles.

There are other hints. When silver is $26/ozt, $9.99 screams "fake". The most obvious red flag, of course, is that the seller is located in China.

No surprise at all as there's a lot of them fake sellers, I feel bad for the youngsters who buy that chit but all you gotta do is use common sense!

 

The sad thing is, many people that shouldn't be buying them, are. "Hey, I got a stimulus check from Uncle Sam. Think I'll "invest it" in some silver. Oh look, here's a good deal." Money GONE.

 

What's really deceptive are those pictures of genuine ASEs on the page!

 

You really have to be vocal about these! Let your friends and family know to try to prevent even one of them from buying this garbage! I detest these people with every bone in my body! I hope they get what's coming to them!

Here is a $9.99 special that was presented to me a while back. It passed the magnet test but only weighed in at 26.8 grams. I thought it looked bad from the start but the non collector would have no idea until they brought it in to sell.

 

I got 4 of them as gift curios. At the price knew not real. Obv and rev are in up right position if rotated left to right

Agreed, it's despicable (oh, I probably shouldn't use that word, since hillary changed the definition! ), but you have to understand that the people doing this are considered heroes by the Chinese government. Anything they can do to target & subvert the West is OK with them; they probably award them with a medal (made from pot metal )!

Also, look up the definition of "bight" (Bightstore?)...don't know if they stumbled on that name or some cerebral con came up with it...

 

i emailed them they are ripping people off and CC the Bureau of Engraving, moneyfactory.info@bep.gov, not sure if anything will happen. Just saw a utube video about this and they were such fakes, with the PGCS label curling from not enough glue & other features that gave it away;

A few years ago, a good friend of mine was buying these as birthday gifts for family members, so I showed him why they were fakes and acquired a couple of the fakes for educational purposes. I paid 99¢ each, straight from China, but no COPY markings. I could now show others the huge differences between a real and fake one. Now, I'll just show them this video. LOL

 

There is no Santa Clause in China either Longnine999. The Grinch lives there. I learned my lesson many years ago, and to this day I do not purchase coins, currency, albums, or slabs from the Crimeese. Enjoyed your post Backtomyquarters, thank you.

 

i, too have seen many ads on facebook, i flag them all as selling counterfeit coins and leave message on their post as to this as well!!

 

Sorry, late to the discussion but, it's too bad places like Facebook and Ebay allow this kind of crud advertising without any vetting. It rips off consumers and also degrades and debases our currency and economy. Guess they got more important social issues that need addressing first. Thanks to OP for posting and keep reminding us.
