    Entry post: I have a gold coin. The kitty pictures reminds me of my grandson who likes pirates. So if I am selected, I would like the pirate era coin from Spain. Thanks!

    I have never owned a gold coin. Not sure if I’m supposed to also pick an item in b? But I do like the capped busy half

    Please let your friends here at CT know if you need anything or if you're being neglected there. That's my biggest worry about homes.

    I am delighted to report that I have completed the move of my existing inventory to the new site, CollecOnline. So you will no longer have to deal with the slow load times on the old CollectiveCoin page.

    Of course that's just the existing inventory. Now I just have to add some new inventory, which I'll be working on between now and the time we have the drawing around the beginning of September.

    I have lots of new stuff, but it all still has to be photographed and listed. I do hope to have at least some of it added soon, so the winners of Prize B and Prize C (those $25 “pick your prize” credits) will have a wider selection to pick from. :)

    Here. I updated the Ukrainian Euromaidan medal with better pictures. The old ones made it look hazy. It isn’t. What little haze there is in the new photos is merely from reflections on the plastic slab.

    I waited to join this giveaway until today because of the Prize A component. When I first read the rules early this month, I definitely did not have a gold coin, but the drawing was to be in September, and I had high hopes. My wife and I married at 8am, August 15, 1971; the 50th anniversary is the GOLDEN one. Since I have wanted a US gold coin to add to my collection for some time now, and this was a golden opportunity (pun intended) to finally get one, I started dropping hints to my wonderful wife like crazy. As I said, I had high hopes. My not so subtle hints worked! do.jpg

    I am very happy to show off my new gold coin, and now I can indicate my preferences should I happen to win the Prize B or C giveaways. The 1865 two-cent piece and (if that coin is unavailable) the 1876-CC seated liberty dime are both of interest to me. I don’t currently have either of those types of coins in my collection, and I also don’t have a coin minted in Carson City.

    I’m glad the kittens have been rescued and taken care off. Rescue work is a noble activity. None of our cats were rescued. They just showed up over time and decided to move in. What can you do?

    Actually, that coin was but the latest return on the investment;), but truly my first gold coin; I really like it. And most assuredly, she is an awesome lady. All she got from me was a set of gold-colored cooking measuring cups. I'm serious about the measuring cups... but a few pieces of jewelry were also involved.

    Nope, never have had any gold coins. I don't even think I have HELD any real gold!
    I hope to someday, but there is a funny thing called "being able to afford it" that keeps getting in the way! LOL
    Those kittens are adorable! We just lost our 12-year-old cat this past week, so it is nice seeing others kitties.
    As for what I would choose in the B/C parts of the contest, I would have to flip a coin (pun intended) to choose which of the Silver Washington Quarters I would pick.
