Hey guys, It's been a while. I've been super busy and have not picked up anything new for a while. But my tax refund just came in and my local dealer just got a new haul of some gorgeous coins!! So I figured why not do a GTG. Any comments you have are always appreciated.

I hear you on the busy. Construction has been been busy for a while but really crazy busy for the last 2 years. A 40 hour week would feel like part time employment....

It's amazing how busy it's gotten. I've been working a full time job, plus all my other side hustles. Right now is a golden opportunity to be making all kinds of money. I'm doing it now, so that I can rest easy later. LOL

Not a lot of guesses so far. I will reveal this evening, give a little more time for anyone else wanting to participate.

Well, it should be late enough for those who may have wanted to participate. So without further ado...

So #5 I bought before the others in this group. But, it was only about 1 week prior to the rest these. It's also the first Gold CAC coin I've bought that I did not make myself, I just don't see them come in to the local shops here.

I am a sucker for PCGS Rattlers and NGC Gen 3 holders, but... I do have to like the coin in them. All of these just spoke to me.

What's interesting is that I also picked up a Proof Shield Nickel at the same time. I did not include it as GTG's for proof coins are incredibly difficult. But, the Proof Shield Nickel and the Morgan were both part of the same submission. I could not break up a pair like that.

Somehow I missed this thread :banghead:

My grade guesses before the reveal were:
AU 55 ...something about it made me think circulated
MS 65 ....super clean/lustrous...I noticed it was a rattler and went conservative....I easily saw it as a 66 and agree with the grade
MS 62 ....nice Hawaii...some chatter in the area to the right of the neck holds it back from 63
MS 63 ...Buffalos are challenging (looked like a nice UNC but not gem)...64 is fair
MS 64 ....nice luster/surfaces...debated 64/65 and went lower based on the date
MS 65 ....nice luster/surfaces...debated 64/65 and went higher based on the date
