I’m in. I don’t understand the price though.

The V75 Proof ASE was $83 and it was a proof ASE just like these yet these cost more per coin even though you’re buying 2 of them.

I bought these 26 Peace Dollars for $750.

Some of them are culls. Others are decent.

They charge a little more for the reverse proof finish/ specialness tax, like privy mark or edge lettering ect. Always been like that, that I remember. Like $5-10 more for reverse proofs over the standard proofs prices.
    2019 proof was $55.95, 2019S ERP was $65.95.
    2020 proof was $73.00, 2020W V75 was $83.
2021 proof is $73.00 or $146 for two. This set is $175 for the two, should be like $166 if it was scaled the same I'd think but I could see a two coin set getting another $10 bump.
But with the way they were going this year I was really surprised it was under $200.

Let’s just hope it doesn’t end up being like the “Pride of Two Nations” sets with the ASE & Canadian Maple Leaf. Worst set EVER.

Those things just would NOT sell.

I remember watching a YouTube channel by a dealer (CoinHelpU) who ended up with like 6 of them even though he only offered $50 (he REALLY did not want them). Yet the Mint was selling them for like $149.99 and they took forever to sell out at the US Mint.

The days of the old flip are gone unless you consider dealers bulking graded coins flippers.

The new bargain mart is being set by tennis shoe and rubber band sellers for which a $20 profit flip is doing great.

I had no idea the Pride of Two Nations dropped like a stone. Sad news moneywise but I still think that it is a handsome set, so no regrets!

It was just never very popular. The Canadian coin in it didn’t draw much interest and most people just wanted the eagle. There was some fatigue with it that year too having the S with a much smaller mintage of the same type that everyone wanted instead
