2 questions; What was the difference between the 1934 and the 1934A series. I see no change? and What is "wide" on the 34D series. I see no difference between a "wide" note and a normal note? Thanks
I'm not really good at navigating this website, but USPAPERMONEY.INFO is a great resource and probably has illustrations of wide and narrow on the issues in your query, here is one such example of wide/narrow for the $1 1935-D series Others will be along to point out the differences in the $5 series.
yeah those are some of my favorite silver certs along with the hawaii notes. i also have a few $1's and $10's in the north africa notes.
