This is looking a Lot to me like something European, west or (likelier) east, c. 10th-11th c. I'm seeing what look like badly barbarized Latin letters, still in an outer border on both sides.
Except, @tartanhill's point is well taken. If it was smaller than a denar (etc.), less than maybe 12 mm, it could be a (potentially later) fraction, and I'd have to check. (...No, the metaphor, from poker; where references are concerned, there's nothing to check.)

Man, this is a tough one, but I agree with the above statement. It sort of has the look of a thin hammered silver medieval piece rather than an ancient. And that's all I have to say, since beyond that vague hunch, I'm stumped.

It´s islamic, an ottoman akce. Probably Mehmed or Murad, try there...(not my area of expertise)

Nice! I wondered about Islamic, but leaned more towards earlier European medieval. Obviously, I know almost nothing about the former and still relatively little about the latter.

@KIWITI, your take is making more sense all the time. I was doing some wishful thinking with the ostensible Latin letters.

It measures 18.3mm at longest point and weighs .90 Grams . Silver possibly.
