Are these pennies worth keeping?

These are the uncirculated pennies I got in the recent collection dump I got from my bank. Mostly 1990’s@ 2000’s. I plan on keeping the 1960’s in front and the 2009’s. Just wondering if I should make the space for the others? The collector in me says yes. The other guy says…. why? Any opinions are appreciated!

I'd keep the shiny coppers. I like shiny copper cents.
Search the Zincolns for known big varieties and dump em.

I would definitely keep the proofs and UNC copper pennies. As for the zincs, if you have space, why not?

I only keep the copper ones, unless they are proof.

Looks like a couple of dollars worth at face value. Break out a couple of
plastic tubes and put them away.

Every coin will increase in value...eventually. The question is, do you want to haul your hoard around while you wait?

My Father bought sealed Mint bags of Memorial cents as they were released. He began in 1959 and stopped in 1964...12 Mint bags (P&D). I have them now and every few years, I carefully transport them to their new home. I've been doing this since 2005 and probably will continue until someone in the family takes over.

Call me greedy, but I would certainly help make them "all" feel at home! You just can't be too Hospitable to a coin!

What happens "every few years" ? Is that how often you move to a new home?
    Jes' curious.

Events have caused my coins to move to new homes three (3) times since 2005. I'm so sick of moving my coins. The last move took two trips.

    Doesn't sound good.
    I hesitate to ask why.

I have a sickness in that I keep all coins. It's crazy but since I have no retirement account they will get spent someday.

Nothing bad...I had to travel, so I moved them to my Sisters. They retired and wanted to relocate. I took them back, but now I'm looking to relocate so I moved them to my sister's new house. Once I get settled, I'll move them back to my new house. That's why I've stopped buying new coins...at least until I get settled.

There is no reason not to hoard it. Meow keeps shiny coins on a regular basis.

I suppose we help keep the government running by purchasing coins. It's like the coinmakers can do no wrong. They flub up making a coin and it just adds more value to it. It's great for coins but bad for cars so I guess we need to keep the coinmakers out of the car business though. I'm starting to think some of us look to hard at coins. I was looking at Indian heads the other day on Ebay and a seller said his coin had an error in that there is a misplaced "one" on the neck of the Indian. I magnified the picture of that coin as much as I could but I still couldn't see what he was talking about? But I'm not seeing any UFO's lately so maybe it's just my eyes?
