Hi i dont know if this was done at the mint or by someone internally. Looks like a running shoe on back to me. Any ideas?

Hmmm, Okay , Looks like grease or burn marks . IMO

 

looks scortched to me.

 

It's post mint damage. It could not have left the mint looking like that.

Damaged…maybe from a house fire in the past or even recently…imo…Spark

 

Appears to be normal environmental damage. A stain from sitting on something. Not done on purpose IMHO.

 

That looks like such, how you say, "crap?" I mean, honestly, why do you even care? For that matter, what makes you think you should care? Let's start there. Are you an admirer of error coins? Are you deceived into thinking there's money in error coins? Are you just plumb bored? Really, one day I'm going to figure all these questions out, I'm determined.
