I'll still never understand why the previous owners had it auctioned outside of the holder even though it was already graded
This entire fiasco is and was disappointing, ever since the 94 fed action, because what the Fed did in this past decade is a travesty, and hid their cat and mouse game with the House of Saud. Disappeared for forty years, my butt. I don't quite recall without going back to my notes in the other room, but I think it was a 7 mil Fed deal at the time. Talk about robbing the collecting community and denying equal justice to all other like coins..... This coin should have been confiscated and/or donated to the Smithsonian, if we are going to talk equal justice. It is an embarrassment to the hobby.
