Is this on a penny planchet?

    I have several of these. I always thought so as the planchets were already around. Let's see what the guys who really know for sure say...and they will ask for a weight.

    Yes. The tokens in the '84 to '98 mint sets are struck on regular cent planchets. it's going t weigh correct.

    That's the problem. My scale is MIA right now. I put it away last time I organized my collection area, and I'll be darned if I can find it. Was hoping somebody already knew LOL!

    Yes I believe that’s how the mint had them made. They were included in uncirculated set for a few years in the eighties. Yours is from Denver and there is a Philadelphia one as well.
