Just so you know, several years ago ANACS was considered a very good grading company just a notch below PCGS and NGC. But, the company was purchased by a new group and moved...once that change was completed there was a significant drop in grading quality and as a result they are no longer considered among the better companies.
I nromally grade my coins with NGC and PCGS However my buyer wanted them slabbed regardless of the grade. Deal is sealed but I needed a cheap slab to throw them in. Plus If your grading cleaned coins doesnt that hint something is severly wrong? lol Like how can you grade a cleaned coin? what grading stanbdard would you use? But whatever dead is done and I can move more inventory.
This is a good idea. One question : why bother grading them at all ? Morgan prices are really soft right now, and in the grades you mentioned, a common date coin sells for about the same price whether it's 50 or 62 or raw. edit - oops ! Sorry... didn't see previous post...
Why would that bother you? He has gas, insurance on the car the car and time to travel? If you thought the drive was worth it then you would have done it. With your attitude the Postman should ship your mail for free since he's on your street anyway
I didn't think $12 for 5 day service was that bad. If I had sent them on my own it would have been three times as expensive. I'm not one to quibble over small change. Guy~
