It may appear as Im taking this photo upside down but i’m not. I purchased this dime in an ebay auction at $256. It’s an 1805 5 berries variety (which is rarer than the 4 berries). The listing said that it had a rotation error which I assumed was about 10° but is more like 170°. How much does this add to the value?

You really need to show the coin reflecting off a mirror. That way we can determine how much rotation it really has. Hold the Obverse correctly towards your camera and the reverse showing on the mirror.

Looks like 10% the way you showed us.

Get a photo with the mirror reflection as everyone is saying and then we can really see how rotated it is.

Mirror is the best way to show it, but even then, you would need someone with a lot of knowledge of either rotation errors or early US error coins to tell you about value. Values are MUCH harder to estimate on older US coins, since many things that are extremely rare these days weren't being quality controlled on older coins. Die rotation errors are notoriously one of these, and I've heard for instance that moderate die rotation errors on 2 cent pieces are common to the point of not even adding value. Some things that may add significant value on modern coins (like a cud) can even detract value from older coins. At any rate, showing good pictures of the rotation in a mirror will be the first step to helping you.
