Grading ANACS Grading of 1973-D Eisenhower Dollars part 6/20

Wow, ANACS was more than fair on it's grade. I would have guessed lower. Lucky you! Thanks for sharing.

 

Think that's a sure clue that it didn't grade AU55 or anything of what's not provided, but rather something within that 63-68 range. I actually don't see any wear, but indeed see the obverse marks both larger and smaller...I sure didn't figure a 65.

I don’t see any wear, but a coin graded MS65 is expected to have booming luster. That’s why this IKE shouldn’t grade any higher than choice MS.

 

ANACS graded coins don’t qualify anyways. NGC/PCGS only.

 

High magnification can be deceiving, shrink the pic down to actual and it looks much better.

That is not just WRONG, but it is also provocative and can be understood as insulting. It might be even litagatable if ANACS wanted to. Please don't troll on my threads. You can hijack someone else's thread to throw out misplaced anger.

 

I think he's talking about qualifying for the "Green Bean" , not qualifying for your thread, which if true, all he did was state a fact, not an opinion.
